Standing in Solidarity

NCHA Civic Engagement Training

The NCHA does not respond to civic discord with politics. We respond with prayer, with the wisdom of the saints, and with the Church's unbroken teaching on the dignity of every human person.

Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, this formation accompanies Haitian Catholic adults as they navigate civic life — not as politicians, but as disciples of Christ and members of the Church.

Saints Who Speak to This Moment

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Patroness of Haiti

“Do not be afraid. I am always here.”

Venerable Pierre Toussaint

Haitian-Born Servant of God

“I have never had time to be weary.”

St. Frances Xavier Cabrini

Patron of Immigrants

“Welcoming the stranger is an act of discipleship.”

St. Oscar Romero

Archbishop & Martyr

“A Church that doesn't provoke any crises is not the Church of Jesus Christ.”

We bring the saints' witness, not a partisan voice, into the discord of our times.
